As a Black-led organization, ATEFEO in response to the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) initiative, launching this project with the aim to empower families and communities to act with the KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and RESOURCES they need to support the SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL, and BEHAVIORAL health of youth. The programs will address mental health and its determinants for Black Canadian youth.
Overview
ATEFEO in partnership with The Black Youth Mental Health Project is promoting Health Equity by focusing on the Canadian Black Youth Mental Health initiative. The participants will develop the appropriate culturally focused knowledge, and capacity to prevent and improve mental health in black communities.
